The Great Highland Bagpipe, perhaps the best known of Scotland's musical instruments and an ambassador for Scotland throughout the world, is accorded new prominence by the founding of The National Piping Centre. We serve as a national and international centre of excellence for the instrument and its music.
Piping Live festival began in 2004. It features some of the biggest names in Scottish and international piping, in outdoor spaces and venues throughout Glasgow.

Once a year Bideford Quay comes alive to the skirl of the pipes and the swing of the kilt as it becomes home to the biggest gathering of Pipers & Drummers in the South West of England as part of the Bideford Festival of Piping & Drumming.
